Vitality Spa + Clinic is a full service/treatment spa offering a variety of health care and spa services as well as cosmetic treatments. The clinic offers registered massage therapy along with a variety of other massage styles such as hot stone massage, Indian head massage and lymphatic massage plus Thai reflexology. Acupuncture, chiropractic treatments and naturopathic medicine are also available. The clinic provides laser treatments for permanent hair removal, microdermabrasion facials, botox and fillers. In the spa, guests can choose from several types of luxurious, cleansing and energizing body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, eyebrow/eyelash tinting/perming and waxing. Guests can also tan in Vitality Spa + Clinic’s lay down or stand up tanning bed or enjoy an infrared sauna session. Vitality Spa + Clinic’s gift shop makes an excellent last stop after a treatment. Inside guests will find a diverse array of boutique-style gifts, clothing, flip flops, jewellery, bath products and yoga equipment.

Meet Andrea DeSousa, Deanna Schwarz, Ameila Poszgay & Shari Pereira
Long before natural body products were trendy, Andrea DeSousa had already made a business out of promoting and providing pure and natural products and holistic health care. Andrea is a Registered Massage Therapist and started her business as a little shop in the mall. Later she added a tanning bed and a gift boutique, with an emphasis on products that could not be readily found elsewhere.
Eventually she outgrew her shop and moved to a bigger location. Her vision was to create a "one-stop shop" for everything health-care, a multi-disciplinary clinic and spa. Throughout the subsequent years Andrea added more services, including various styles of massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, laser treatments, manicures and pedicures and several other spa and health care treatments. Andrea is incredibly proud of her staff, including manager Deanna Schwarz, who have bought into her vision wholeheartedly and strive daily to offer quality service to all of the spa's clients.
Nikki is excited about the way the business is growing and thrilled to be a part of the vibe in downtown Kitimat. "There is a good sense of collaboration between businesses in the downtown," says Nikki. "We try not to offer the same things and compete with each other that way." She knows there is a lot of buzz going on about Kitimat's future and upcoming projects and investments. Nikki believes this is good news for small businesses. "There is incredible potential for success in Kitimat," she says.
