Meet Sarim "Sam" Saisal

Sarim has lived in Kitimat for 6 years and has been a property manager for several years. When the Chalet came onto the market, he seized the opportunity.

Manager Denice Enmark has been with the motel and restaurant for ten years and works closely with Sam on a day-to-day basis. While Sam is relatively new to Kitimat, Denice has lived here for years, and feels as though she probably knows most everyone in town. Working in the busy downtown gives her the opportunity to meet many locals, and being in the tourism industry means that she meets a lot of people from other places as well. Many of the motel's guests come to Kitimat for its recreational opportunities, particularly fishing, from places as far away as France and Germany. It also has a significant number of guests who stay for longer periods while they work in the Kitimat area. Hearing their stories and backgrounds is part of what makes both her and Sam's job exciting. They take pride in making meeting the needs of their guests and making them feel welcome and comfortable during their stays.

Denice and Sam believe that Kitimat is a town with great potential. Its outdoors and the natural resources and recreational activities that come with that is part of the reason. It's also a place rife with culture, events, and things to do, making it a good place to raise a family. Its greatest asset, though, is the people who live here. Without them, many of those things simply would not exist.
